There are so many things to consider when preparing for a concert. A number of these are actually not directly related to the artist’s performance. Examples of such are crowd control and the safety of the performers, the crew, and the staff. Many times, a producer considers these only on the latter part of the preparation. What must be noted though is that these are concerns that can also make or break the concert’s success. Therefore, these deserve some careful planning too.
Unfortunately, traffic control usually comes into a producer’s mind only when the concert date is already near. If you own a production outfit, you may consider this somebody else’s concern already. What are the traffic enforcers for anyway? This is certainly a conclusion that bears no truth. In fact, the traffic authorities under the local government will ask you to show them your plan in managing the traffic during the event. Unless you have one, your concert runs the risk of being called off by them. You certainly cannot allow this to occur.
