Some Of New England’s Famous Beaches

New England is home to many world class famous beaches. From the southern states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, through Massachusetts to the northern states of New Hampshire and Maine, the Atlantic Ocean has tons of its shoreline mesmerizing locals and visitors to New England. Sorry to leave you out, Vermont, but alas, you have no ocean coastline!

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Maine is Old Orchard Beach. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean in the southern portion of the state and about a two hour drive from Boston, Old Orchard Beach offers up a seven mile long stretch of beach that is dotted with traditional New England beach houses, bed and breakfasts, and condominiums. The town itself is home to myriad restaurants, clam shacks, souvenir shops, and even a famous Ferris Wheel.

The 15 minute New Hampshire drive from Hampton Beach to Rye Beach offers fantastic views of the Atlantic coast lined with beach houses. The surrounding areas are not as developed commercially as are the neighboring Hampton Beach and Salisbury Beach. Going to the coast where the waves are is an extremely pleasant experience. For those of us who would love to go, it’s important to figure out different methods on how to save money with surfing. Those types of activities aren’t usually all that cheap, but as long as you have a plan and you prepare ahead of time, you’ll be fine.

Instead of trying to travel half around the world to go surfing, try looking for popular spots near where you live. The coasts of Hawaii probably sound like heaven to you, but the thing is that Hawaii is extremely expensive and harbors several tourist traps. If you use the internet to your advantage, you can search for beaches closer to you instead of going to touristy spots.

Maybe you want to just get away for a while and leave your home town. If you go to a place that’s inhabited by a lot of surfers, you’ll probably be able to find a few camps set up specifically for people traveling. Before you go on your trip, however, be sure to pack the things you need in advance. Then, you won’t have to spend much money on personal items. Surfing is a wonderful sport. Getting into water and riding on waves is a great experience. I have personally tried many different beaches and pools to get the best experience of surfing. I practice a lot in surfing and have noticed the most important thing that is not good in all the famous surfing spots. It is that there are many people that come for surfing and due to this it becomes mess.

By noticing this thing I decided to search for places which are best for surfing and the tides are also high. So I have collected some information about these types of beaches that I am going to share with you. These beaches are not famous so are not crowded. And you can surf there without any mess with full peace. No doubt the following places that I am going to tell you are small but the waves there are awesome.

The first secret place is in Honolulu, Hawaii. You must be amazed to hear about Hawaii because now it is a dead place for surfing. But even then there are many hidden places in Hawaii which are alive for surfing. These surfing points are small but the waves there are unbeatable. To reach to these spots you have to go through a bit dangerous track. When the waves pick up its pace, these spots become the best surfing spots. Locals hardly know about these places.  Read more...
