Luggage – Don’t Lose It On Vacation And Holiday Air Flights

Whether you take air flights for business, or holidays and vacations, you have probably lost luggage or know of a person that has. Here are some travel tips that may help you prevent this happening.

It has been estimated that more than a million bags are lost by the airlines each year in the U.S. alone. How many bags get lost in the whole world is anybody’s guess. Here are a few tips that might help you find your bags should they get lost.

Attach a couple of tags with your name, home address, and phone number to the handle and zipper-pulls of every bag that you are checking. There’s less of a chance that every tag could get torn off when in transit. Make sure that you’ve taken off any old airline tags that are still on your luggage as they could confuse the baggage handlers.

Also, you should place the same contact information, including a copy of your itinerary and destination address inside each your bags. Then, if they do go astray and are found in time, it’s possible that they could be forwarded to your hotel.

Just Across The Border Is Fabulous Canada

Most people don’t consider crossing the border to our north as traveling abroad, but even though Canada and the United States have many similarities, Canada does have things to offer the world traveler. Although most of the population of Canada lives within a hundred or so miles from the border with the US, there is a huge and vast country to explore.

Canada has everything from big, metropolitan cities, to small country towns and everything in between. About the only thing that you can’t find are tropical sandy beaches and good surfing spots. Probably the most famous site in the whole country is the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. For anyone who has never seen the Falls, it is quite a site. It has become a popular destination for Honeymoons in the past and has gotten a bad rap for being too touristy. Although it has been thought of that way in the past, it is really a sight to behold. It is a natural wonder that everyone should see.

Canada is littered with amazing natural beauty. For people that love the beauty and ruggedness of the outdoors, it really is a perfect place to visit. Canada has a lot of cattle and grazing lands. In fact, the mountainous area of the west is a lot like the old west of the US. There are still many cattle ranches and cowboy hats to go around.
