A Goldmine of Cultural Activities Awaits in San Francisco

Everyone knows that San Francisco is a great gathering place for individuals of different cultures and preferred pastime. If it’s music you’re looking for, you’ll find it in the Civic Center, museums in SoMa (south of Market Street), and theater in Union Square! In the 1960s, the acid rock culture had its start in San Francisco with The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. And it hasn’t ended yet all across the U.S.A. In the meantime, cultural activities of all kinds have proliferated throughout the San Francisco worlds of music, dance, art, film, theater and lecture circuit.

If you’ve already done all there is to do in Marin County, in such locales as Sausalito’s Bay Area Discovery Museum, you can always go to San Francisco to visit any one of an incredible selection of cultural activities.
